Auto delist sold items on every marketplace
Auto delisting means the moment an item sells on one marketplace, the same item is taken down from the others, so it cannot sell twice. Crosslisty checks items that are listed on two or more marketplaces about every 15 minutes while your browser is open. It calls a sale only after the marketplace confirms it on two separate checks. It then removes the other listings from Poshmark, Mercari, Depop and Vinted, asking you first unless you turn on automatic removal, and checks that each listing is really gone. For eBay, Etsy and Facebook it opens the right page so you can end the listing yourself.
Updated October 2026. Crosslisty is a Chrome extension (it also works in Brave and Edge) that copies a listing to the other marketplaces, fills each form for you, and removes sold items from your other listings.
What auto delisting is
Auto delisting watches the marketplaces where an item is listed. When one of them reports a sale, the tool ends the item’s listings everywhere else. It replaces the chore every multi-marketplace seller knows: remembering which sites an item is on, opening each one, and finding the listing to delete.
Why it matters
- A sold item still live elsewhere can sell again, and cancelling a paid order can hurt your standing with the marketplace and the buyer.
- The more marketplaces you use, the longer manual cleanup takes, and the more likely you are to miss one.
- It is the part of crosslisting that does not get easier with practice. It only gets longer as your inventory grows.
What Crosslisty removes automatically
Crosslisty checks items that are listed on two or more marketplaces about every 15 minutes while your browser is open. It calls a sale only after the marketplace confirms it on two separate checks. It then removes the other listings from Poshmark, Mercari, Depop and Vinted, asking you first unless you turn on automatic removal, and checks that each listing is really gone. For eBay, Etsy and Facebook it opens the right page so you can end the listing yourself.
- Removed for you: Poshmark, Mercari, Depop and Vinted.
- Assisted: eBay, Etsy and Facebook. Crosslisty opens the right page and you end the listing in one click, because those sites need your own confirmation.
- Included on the free plan. Only filling forms counts toward the 5 a day. Sale checks and removals are not limited.
The two safeguards that matter
A wrong delisting is worse than a slow one, so Crosslisty is built to be careful:
- It checks twice. One odd page load never counts as a sale. A sale needs two separate confirmations from the marketplace.
- It asks first. By default it sends a notification and waits for your yes before it removes anything. You can switch on automatic removal if you trust it.
- It checks its own work. After removing a listing it opens the listing again to confirm it is gone, and retries later if it is not.
What it cannot do
- It only works while your browser is open. Crosslisty runs in your own browser with your own sign-ins, so it checks every 15 minutes while the browser is running. Close the browser and checks wait until you open it.
- It does not detect sales made on Facebook. When an item sells there, end the other listings by hand.
- Only linked items are watched. An item has to be listed on two or more marketplaces through Crosslisty so it knows the matching listing on each site.
How to set it up
- Install Crosslisty and import an item from the marketplace where you listed it first.
- Send it to your other marketplaces and post each form.
- Leave your browser open while you sell. When a sale is confirmed you get a notification. Say yes and the other listings come down.
- To skip the question, open Settings and switch on automatic removal.
Questions
Does Crosslisty delist automatically on every marketplace?
It removes listings automatically on Poshmark, Mercari, Depop and Vinted. On eBay, Etsy and Facebook it opens the right page so you finish in one click.
Do I need a paid plan to auto delist?
No. Sale checks and removals are included on the free plan. The free plan limits form fills to 5 a day, not delisting.
Does it ask before removing a listing?
Yes, by default. You can turn on automatic removal in Settings.
Does auto delist work when my browser is closed?
No. Crosslisty runs inside your browser, so it checks every 15 minutes while the browser is open and catches up when you open it again.
What if two marketplaces sell at once?
Crosslisty will notice the first sale it confirms and start removing the rest, but a sale that lands in the gap between checks can still happen. See what to do if it does.
