Crosslisty is built to work without collecting your data. This page explains the little that is stored and why.

In the extension

When you import a listing, Crosslisty reads the listing's public details (title, description, price, brand, size, condition and photo links) from the page in your browser and saves them in your browser's local extension storage. When you crosslist, it downloads that listing's photos from the marketplace's image servers and fills in the listing form in your browser. Your listings, the pages you visit and your marketplace accounts are never sent to us.

When the same item is listed on two or more marketplaces, Crosslisty checks those listings about every 15 minutes while your browser is open, to see whether one has sold. If you turn on automatic removal, or confirm a sale, it removes the other listings on your behalf. These checks and removals go straight from your browser to the marketplace, using the account you're signed in to there. To make those requests, the extension reads the marketplace's own session cookies on that marketplace's site. It never reads cookies from any other site, and never sends them to us.

The AI features are off by default. If you turn them on and add your own Google Gemini API key, the listing you're working on (its text, and its photos if you choose) is sent to Google's Gemini API to suggest titles and descriptions, under Google's terms. Your key is kept in the extension's background storage and is only sent to Google.

The extension also stores your settings, how many free crosslists you've used today, and your license key and activation ID if you have Pro. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.

License checks

When you activate Pro, and about once a day after that, the extension sends your license key and activation ID to our license service to confirm the license is valid. Nothing else is sent.

What our license service stores

For each purchase we store the license key, the Paddle transaction ID, the Paddle customer ID, the Paddle subscription ID and its status, the IDs of browsers where the key is active, and when the license was created. We use this only to deliver and verify your license. The service runs on Cloudflare, which may keep short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Payments

Paddle is our merchant of record. Paddle collects your name, email, billing details and payment information to process your order, under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see your card details.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't use analytics or tracking cookies. The checkout on /buy loads Paddle's checkout, which may set cookies needed to process payment.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you or delete the license data linked to your purchase. Deleting it deactivates your license. Email support@crosslisty.com.
