How to crosslist from Facebook to Depop

Crosslisting from Facebook to Depop means putting the same item up for sale on both marketplaces, so more buyers see it. Done by hand, it means downloading photos and retyping every field. With Crosslisty it takes three clicks, and you still check the listing before it goes live.

Step by step

  1. Import from Facebook. Open your item on Facebook and click Import to Crosslisty at the bottom right. It saves the photos, title, description, price, brand, size and condition in your browser.
  2. Send to Depop. Press Depop in the card that appears, or in the Crosslisty popup. The Depop listing form opens in a new tab.
  3. Check and post. Crosslisty uploads the photos and fills the fields. Its checklist shows anything it could not fill, with a button that jumps to the field. Fix those, then press Depop's own post button.

Before you post on Depop

Depop has no title field. Crosslisty puts the item name at the top of the description, which Depop uses as the listing headline. Depop sometimes shows a human check first; complete it, then fill.

Questions

Can I crosslist from Facebook to Depop automatically?

Yes. Crosslisty imports your Facebook listing and fills the Depop listing form with photos, description, price, brand and size. You check the form and post it yourself.

How many photos can I copy from Facebook to Depop?

Depop accepts up to 8 photos per listing. Crosslisty uploads full-size photos from Facebook up to that limit.

Will my Facebook title fit on Depop?

Depop has no title field, so the Facebook title goes at the top of the description.

Does crosslisting to Depop remove the Facebook listing when it sells?

It can. While your browser is open, Crosslisty checks your linked listings every 15 minutes. When a sale is confirmed it removes the item from Poshmark, Mercari, Depop and Vinted for you, after asking first unless you turn on automatic removal. eBay, Etsy and Facebook listings open in one click so you can end them. Sales made on Facebook are not detected.
